Aside from media work, I also have some experience working backstage on stage theater productions. I had the opportunity to work on two plays and one musical during my junior and senior years of college. I gained experience working in a few departments during the theater seasons. I took a couple of backstage theater classes to learn about participation Below are descriptions of the shows I worked on and how I contributed to working on the show.
PropertiesThe very first show I worked was Alfred Hitchcock's The 39 Steps during my junior year. My primary responsibility was crafting properties for the show.

set constructionMy second show was also my first musical, which was Fiddler on the Roof. I took a class called Stagecraft I during my senior year. My responsibilities were crafting properties and set construction.

scenic paintingMy last show was Doubt: A Parable during my senior year. This show was set up as Black Box Theater style on the stage. My responsibilities were primarily scenic painting and some set construction.
